For care providers
Fully vetted before they start
How Adnah vets every care worker, nurse and allied health professional we supply: Enhanced DBS, right to work, references and registration checks, all completed before a first shift.
This is the page most services want to read before they book anyone. Every check below is completed and recorded before a worker is offered to you, and we can evidence any of it on request.
Identity
Photographic identification verified against original documents, plus proof of current address.
Right to work
Checked in line with Home Office guidance, including share code verification where it applies. Re-checked before any time-limited permission expires.
Enhanced DBS
Enhanced disclosure appropriate to the setting, including the barred lists where the role is regulated activity. Renewed on our own schedule, not left to expire.
Professional registration
NMC registration for nurses and HCPC registration for therapists, verified at registration and re-verified before each placement.
References
Two references covering recent employment, taken up in writing and followed up by telephone where anything is unclear.
Employment history
A full history with any gaps explained, in line with safer recruitment expectations.
Mandatory training
Safeguarding, moving and handling, basic life support, infection prevention and control, and medication where the role requires it.
Occupational health
Fitness to work confirmed before placement, with any reasonable adjustments recorded.
Nothing expires quietly
Every document we hold has an expiry date attached to it, and our system flags them well before they lapse. A worker whose DBS or training has run out is removed from the available list automatically, so they cannot be offered to you by mistake.
